Today we are alone in Izmir, so we decided to hit the shops, but being a Sunday they were closed. So we walked along the beach front..

Then we caught a taxi to the docks to catch the ferry. We were there two hours before, but in our excitement
time seemed to fly by |

|
|
We boarded the ferry and were pleasantly surprised by our cabins. It was great on board and we sat on deck in the sun and drank
beers. We played cards before and after dinner. Dori found a new admirer in one of the waiters, but he had no chance. Sleeping on the ship was really good. After breakfast we went onto deck to watch the docking.
Istanbul from the sea is an amazing sight. |
